Introduction:

I believe everyone is the master of their fate, the captain of their soul. My background is in psychology, and my Ph.D. researches the psychological attributes of those who reach their dreams.

Our perception and how we digest and internalize things is how we perceive our outer world. In the most basic thinking- what we feed grows. To drill down further, we are all given challenges and opportunities; they can and are different for everyone. But because of our sovereignty, we can move forward in a way that is in harmony and balance with our true purpose here on earth.

You may ask, how does one do this? It is developing a foundational understanding of who you are in the world and creating a connection to your spiritual team that walks beside you in otherworldly dimensions.

Shamanism teaches one to live in balance with nature and people. When we are out of balance, we feel stress resulting in feeling not grounded, leading to illness and stressed relationships. Understanding nature is our greatest healer, and learning how to bring forth a balance in life and connection to the web of life will lead to a more joyful purposeful life.

How to Live an Authentic Shamanic Life is a twelve-part series to teach women the foundations of the oldest spirituality on earth. In addition, you will gain an understanding of shamanism and how to use it in the contemporary world.

About Your NWW Luminary Teacher

Dr. Mary Newstrom is an internationally known Shamanic Teacher and Practitioner & Reiki Master Teacher, founder of Zenith High LLC and creator of Spirit Flow~ shamanic study programs. She has studied with unparalleled shamanic teachers around the world for over thirty years. Mary works with the Shipibo Shamans living in the Amazon basin of Peru, gaining the expert experiences that shape her into the shamanic leader she is today.

Mary holds a doctoral degree in psychology and is certified in health and wellness consultation. Her commitment to the environment, animals and the world is reflected in the work she did impacting policy and producing results that improved the lives of millions of people in the United States.

She continues to emulate her committed for a better world as a volunteer in the Master Naturalist program. In the corporate world, Mary held several positions, excelling to levels that were recognized by numerous awards. An accomplished leader in creating positive community change, she taught at the collegiate level impacting students to go into the world and make a difference.

Mary continues to strive to build a better world with her drive to bring shamanic teachings to all in an easy-to-understand way that allows the concepts to be applied in the contemporary world.
