Introduction:

What I know for sure is that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. The body speaks its mind, but we've been programmed to ignore what it's saying. It's possible to regain the sense of safety, creativity and wholeness each of us was born with, even after monumental trauma.

Somatic practices are the best way because they help people without drugs, without taking years, and in many instances, without words. Plus, a somatic approach allows people to regain their sovereignty, their innate wisdom and agency.

For these reasons, I believe the body of work I have curated, The Trauma Release MethodTM, is the least painful and most effective way home to yourself. I am passionate about helping people nurture their inner awakening by resolving their outer trauma.

Stress Less & Thrive More: Release Trauma Stored in Your Body

Based on experience from over 25 years in bodywork and teaching people what they can do on their own to feel better, I provide a guided process that is easy to learn, unwinds tension, augments perception and gives you the tools to create the conditions for muscles to heal themselves. Learn how to intervene before issues escalate and how to tap into the intersection between consciousness and embodied freedom, for you are a spiritual consciousness in a very human body. This is a science based method that is light-years ahead of conventional models within mainstream understanding of musculoskeletal health, because they treat you as if you were a thing, not a living, breathing, aware, self-organizing being who has a nervous system with the capacity to reset itself.

My work helps people resolve repetitive use issues, injury, surgery or compensation patterns that perpetuate pain. These issues would appear to be physical. However, they often begin as unaddressed emotional trauma. I help women who have given so much of themselves over a lifetime, that they have come to realize they need to practice self care at a much deeper level. Ultimately, The Trauma Release MethodTM, is a means for reversing the pre-mature aging caused by the tension of stress overwork and, in some cases, traumatic grief. Who wouldn't want to feel better, be more rested and find themselves more mobile than they were even a few years ago?

Gabrielle Pullen has had her hands on people since 1997, experiencing the sensation of how the body keeps the score in the way that it turns healthy, elastic, adaptive muscles into taut bands - so hard that it compresses joints, bones and any sense of freedom of motion. In 2000, after realizing that massage could only kickstart the process of releasing the tension of years of stress, after much research, trial and error, she entered into the four-year FeldenkraisĀ® Training where she learned how to unwind the patterns of compensation and tension. She was picking up the tension of her clients as well, so it was vital, with three whiplash injuries from major car accidents at 60 mph that she found a way to first release her own pain. The work was suffering. She was getting burnt out. But when she learned the Feldenkrais MethodĀ® of Awareness Through MovementĀ® developed by physicist Moshe Feldenkrais, she found a simple process anybody can learn for neurological re-education. Gabrielle specializes in helping people with trauma because the resources available are limited and she believes people should not need to suffer.
