Revisiting the Law of Attraction

How much do you believe you can have what’s in your heart become a reality? Some of us have learned to do this, some are still figuring it out and some have given up.

Jerry and Esther Hicks made profoundly important information available to us over the years. Their book The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham, opened people’s understanding to a new way of creating--and experiencing--their heart’s desires.

Many of us learned about the Law of Attraction and practiced it in the best ways we knew how. Sometimes it seemed to work and other times it didn’t. Why would this be?

In a recent conversation with Nada Hogan, one of our NWW Luminary teachers, she mentioned that there is a law that precedes (and works with) the Law of Attraction. Nada will be teaching more about this in her yearlong courses for New World Women subscribers, which will be available in the next few months.

Nada said that the Law of Attraction is the second law. The first is the Law of Vibration. The higher our vibration, the more it aligns with (and makes possible) what we’d like to attract.

How do you get into a higher vibration? There are many ways, but one of the easiest is the feel-good vibration of gratitude.

Gratitude is a higher-vibration feeling because it brings with it

appreciation, joy, connection and a sense of ease.

  1. Take a moment right now, to think of one person, place or thing for which you feel truly grateful.

  2. Allow gratitude to fill you.

  3. Feel the lightness of your being and the way you vibrate in the moment.

  4. Repeat throughout your day and observe how you get into a beautiful flow of life--and are easily attracting what's in your heart to have, do or be!

As humans, our thinking minds tell us that things have to be hard or complicated in order to experience results. Try the simple act of using your heart instead, filling it with gratitude, and watch how your life transforms!
