If You Only Have Time for One Prayer
Isn’t it wonderful to have so many ways to meditate, pray, reflect or contemplate? Though many of us are very dedicated to daily connection to a greater, higher power, have you ever skipped a day, a week or longer? For some, missing out on daily inner connection/guidance can leave us feeling unprepared for the day, “off” or downright jagged.
So, in an act of kindness (because we can tend to be pretty hard on ourselves at times), let’s breathe the fresh air of flow--allowing ourselves to invite an easy and sweet way to pray throughout our day.
Theologian, philosopher, radical thinker and mystic, Meister Eckhart, shares his thought on prayer, which we really like:
"If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life
is—‘Thank You’—it will be enough.”
Ah. Try this simple form of prayer right now and see how you feel. Don’t stop there though–float through your day with gratitude, appreciation and awareness of all you love, have and are.
Create your new world with the simple energy of "thank you."
